- More than 200 hangings and death sentences, including those under age of 18
- 6 cases of stoning in Tehran alone, 64 percent of whom were between 25 to 29 years of age and 55% of those were without high school diplomas.
- Separation of all public place and establishing official gender apartheid in parks and streets.

- On February 7, 2006 Hojjat Zamani, a political prisoner and member of Iran’s main opposition group, was executed by the regime to retaliate against referral to UN Security Council for its nuclear file.
- On July 31, 2006 Akbar Mohammadi, a political prisoner who was on hunger strike for his detention, was murdered in prison.
- On September 6, 2006, Valliollah Fayz Mahdavi, a political prisoner and member of Iran’s main opposition group, MEK (PMOI), who was hunger strike for his detention, was murdered in prison.
- On September 9, 2006 four prisoners were hanged over the past three days in Tehran and towns of Saravan and Bandar Abbass.
